Nordic Walking is a new sporting discipline that comes from Finland. It consists of walking with sticks that have been specially developed for this sport, and offers an easy, natural and very effective way to improve your physical condition and to tone body muscles, independently of your age, sex or physical fitness. What’s more, it’s fun, relaxing and inexpensive. In Nordic Walking you use around 90% of your body muscles, without putting excessive strain on joints, and with all the benefits that a complete workout of this kind brings. In the three levels of Nordic Walking - wellness, fitness and sport – each person finds his or her own level of ability and the exercises suitable for his or her own physical condition.
